Last month, a delegation from SONABEL, the national power company of Burkina Faso, visited the headquarters of CWPC. Mr. Souleymane OUEDRAOGO, General Manager of SONABEL, introduced the current power distribution in Burkina Faso and the financial situation of SONABEL to CWPC. 60% of Burkina Faso's power supply is imported from neighboring countries. In order to ensure the sustained and stable economic growth of Burkina Faso, SONABEL is taking actions to improve the power supply capacity of various communities, optimize the power generation energy structure of Burkina Faso, create employment opportunities, stimulate economic activities, and increase national tax revenue.
